The test checks a phone whose Obeya app on the home screen still opens the machine's old tailnet name. It assumed the renamed machine would be served on port 8443, because the old name kept port 443. Since “A machine renamed in the tailnet keeps Obeya's address port: its old entry goes”, Obeya moves its entry to the new name and keeps the port, so the test failed on main.
| After the rename | Test expected before | Test expects now |
|---|---|---|
| Obeya's address | https://studio.tail1234.ts.net:8443 | https://studio.tail1234.ts.net |
| Pairing link | …ts.net:8443/pair?code=… | …ts.net/pair?code=… |
| App address after pairing anew | …ts.net:8443 | …ts.net |
Still checked, unchanged: the app on the home screen keeps the old address, the section shows it, the old pairing code no longer counts as connected, pairing anew replaces the old device entry, and a second phone at the current address is left alone.
