When an agent's session dies in the middle of its work (its harness crashes, say), the task no longer just stops and loses the conversation. It asks you, showing the error, and offers Try again, which resumes the same session: the agent remembers what it did and goes on from there. Stop and then Start again still begin a fresh session on the task's branch.
