A worker could answer an English-speaking owner in German, because German examples and quotation marks in its instructions suggested the owner speaks German. Agents that write to the owner (workers, idea agents, the proposal reviser) now read only English: requests to Obeya, the Undo button and the work retrospective are named in English, and quoted titles and options use English quotation marks. Obeya's assistant keeps understanding German commands.
